Teenage Idol:

The Ricky Nelson Story

A handsome teen idol who had a considerable amount of talent to complement his blue-eyed good looks, Ricky Nelson practically grew up in the nation’s living rooms each week on “The Adventures Of Ozzie & Harriet”.  He would rival Elvis Presley, and become a self-contained rock and roller in his own right.  Boasting an impressive thirty-four songs in the Top 40!  Many teenagers tuned into the show because of him, and his performances – a harbinger of the kind of impact MTV would have decades later by bringing popular music to TV.

Featuring Classics: Travelin’ Man, Hello Mary Lou, Poor Little Fool, Teenage Idol, It’s Up To You, Fools Rush In, Stood Up, It’s Late, Never Be Anyone Else But You, Garden Party and MANY, MANY MORE!
